These were the first two cushions I ever made. The blue one was a present for a little boy the pink one I still have and I will probably end up keeping for my self ....just as a keepsake.

My first ever cushions
These were the first two cushions I ever made. The blue one was a present for a little boy the pink one I still have and I will probably end up keeping for my self ....just as a keepsake.
Long time no see...
I can't believe that it has been almost six month since my last blog - unforgivable! A lot has happened and I just never found the time to write. I no longer live in London and I no longer can just jump on the bus and go to my favourite fabrics shop in Battersea...sigh...
We are now back in Germany which is actually a heaven for hand made stuff...shame I can't speak very good German and I have real trouble finding my way around the crafts community.
Off course I managed to find time for sewing during the past six months- its my way of relaxing and feeling good. Strangely enough almost everything I touched materialised into a cushion. And yes, I did finish the name cushions I was telling about in my last post...long time ago...
The name cushions turned out very nice and I was told they are a real hit with their new owners.
